Young Ramon has never established any real friendships because his father frequently moves the family due to his inability to hold down a job. When the family relocates to Seville, Spain, Ramon intends to survive school by fading into the background. Unfortunately, he becomes the target of a bully, David, and his gang. A young priest watches out for the boy and teaches him lessons regarding the larger political bullying of Francisco Franco.
