Richard, a British naval commander, is dismissed from service after he acts on deadly false orders planted by his girlfriend, Mary, who is actually a Nazi spy. Determined to find her and clear his reputation, Richard tracks Mary to a cottage, where he discovers her corpse a few moments before Laura, a woman investigating a Nazi spy ring, bursts in. Realizing they are in pursuit of the same people, the duo joins forces.
