Sally Middleton is an actress who swears off love when her boyfriend ends their relationship. Meanwhile, her friend Olive Lashbrooke has no problem with finding dates -- and sometimes has too many. When Olive is supposed to meet Sgt. Bill Page at Sally's apartment, she stands him up in favor of a commander . With nowhere to go, Bill winds up spending the weekend with Sally, but she still fights those loving feelings.
