Author Raphaël gets a gig writing for famous soccer player Kevin, who has literary pretensions. As he struggles with the manuscript and clashes with his collaborator, Raphaël discovers that Kevin's girlfriend is none other than his ex, Claire -- a fact that doesn't sit well with his current girlfriend, Muriel . Raphaël and Claire soon pick up where they left off, but then tragedy touches the young writer.
