Veteran gangster Gu is looking to make one final score so he can retire to a quiet life with his girlfriend . Things are complicated by the fact Gu just escaped from prison, and all of French law enforcement is in pursuit. Chief among them is a no-nonsense police commissioner, Blot . The heist comes off, but Gu is made to look like a traitor. He works to clear his name as the sometimes fine line between police and thieves is explored.
