When Magnus gets invited to his high school reunion, he ignores it, just as he always has. Suddenly, though, he finds himself thinking of Hillevi, the girl he almost ran off with 20 years earlier. Vaguely dissatisfied with his bourgeois life and wife, Lollo, he wonders what might have been if he had eloped with his first love. Optimistic that Hillevi will be there, Magnus attends the reunion, but instead encounters the bullies and misfits of his past.
