Believing his job will put him in an early grave, Los Angeles stockbroker William Alren decides to quit working and pursue his private hobby of peeping full-time. But when his wife, Lisa, catches him sneaking out of the house with his binoculars in tow, she's furious and decides to leave him. Lisa's sister, Nan, who has marriage troubles of her own, pushes Lisa toward divorce, but part of her still wants to work things out.
