The Magician

Brilliant surgeon Dr. Arthur Burdon saves sickly beauty Margaret by performing a daring operation. Afterward, the two begin to fall in love, until the mysterious Oliver Haddo seemingly sweeps Margaret off her feet. But this is no ordinary affair -- in fact, Haddo is a sorcerer who put a spell on the young woman to lure her into his hideout, where he plans to remove her heart and blood as part of a devious experiment to create artificial life.
