During the first half of the 20th century, Long Tack Sam, a magician and acrobat, is one of the most popular Chinese entertainers. Sam's love for the vaudeville lifestyle, as well as the conflicts created by World War I and World War II, takes him, his Austrian wife and their two children across the world. Sam's legacy, however, is all but forgotten. But director Ann Marie Fleming, Sam's great-granddaughter, is dedicated to uncovering the history of her once famous family.
