The Line

Pelon is the newly installed head of a Mexican drug cartel that operates with the under-the-table blessing of the American government. Up until now, they've dealt mainly in cocaine. But Pelon's decision to start trafficking in Afghani heroin prompts the U.S. to target him for assassination. While Mark Shields tracks the elusive gangster, and the cartel members fight amongst themselves, he meets a prostitute with her own reasons for fighting Pelon.
