The Golem

In Prague, the insane, anti-Semitic Emperor Rodolphe II is planning an attack on the local Jewish population, who look to their spiritual leader, the rabbi Jacob, for an answer. Desperate to save his people, Jacob turns to the dark arts and fashions a protector from clay, using spells to give him life. Called ''The Golem,'' the vicious guardian quickly turns from savior to violent entity, and he may be too powerful for the Jews to stop.
