Musical group Strange Fruit had a bitter breakup in the 1970s, but now, 20 years later, keyboard player Tony wants to get the band back together. Joining Tony is old cohort Karen, who helps convince lead singer Ray, bassist Les, drummer Beano and longtime roadie Hughie of the wisdom of a reunion. But old jealousies reemerge when the band hires a young guitarist to fill in.
