In a laboratory in Scotland, a mad scientist, Dr. Oddlike, conducts experiments on a spunky canine, Kimble, who proves to be unusually adept at soccer. When Kimble escapes, he comes across Zack, a lonely American kid who has come to Scotland to find Brian, the father he has never known. The remarkable dog helps to reunite father and son, but also tries to assist a struggling soccer team make it to the finals.
