After accidentally killing a man in the ring, boxer Rush Lambert needs to escape from his old life and regain his composure. Meanwhile, singer Clare Sinclair is on the run from her gangster boyfriend, Vic Spilato, who wants to keep her from his murder trial. As the two cross paths in South America, Rush faces a whole new set of problems when Clare involves him in her affairs -- especially since hit man Cappy Gordon is on her trail.
