Meticulous hired killer Connor has an appointment to meet the lovely Helen Woods in a hotel room to complete a mysterious transaction involving microfilm. While Connor waits in room 38, portly salesman and cross-dresser Richard ``Dick'' Armstrong anticipates the arrival of a prostitute in room 36. However, a mishap finds the call girl going to room 38, triggering violent and suspenseful series of incidents.
