In this documentary, a group of patients who are diagnosed with or have beaten breast cancer journey through the United States speaking with physicians and scientists in hopes of determining what caused their illnesses. The women eventually single out radiation, pesticides and other forms of pollution as factors that put the female population at risk for breast cancer. The crusading women also investigate medical and environmental policies that discriminate against black women.
