Martin; his wife, Ariane; and their baby are supposed to be spending a tranquil few weeks at a summer house in the country. But things get tense when Martin's ex-girlfriend, Constance; her husband, Arnaud; and their two children also show up, followed by Ariane's best friend and her boyfriend. Martin has never gotten over Constance and it doesn't take long before old feelings spark anew.
