This fictional drama is based on a true story. Two aspiring hip-hop artists from the Bronx, Lorenzo Lewis and Walter Velasquez, try to make their musical dreams come true. But the realities of surviving on the streets are tough. Lorenzo deals drugs to get by, while Walter attends college and does his best to stay out of trouble. Just as things take off for them, Lorenzo is arrested and sent to jail. Upon release, he again faces the hard choices of urban life.
