Using interviews with the mothers of U.S. soldiers fighting in Iraq, filmmaker Angeliki Giannakopoulos reveals the truly complicated nature of war. During her conversations with these women -- voices rarely heard during ongoing dialogue about war -- Giannakopoulos discovers a surprisingly wide range of opinions. Some mothers staunchly support their children, while others are fearful for their lives, but, regardless of their opinion, each mother recognizes how powerless they truly are.
