While enjoying a solo fishing expedition, Dr. Paul Martin is captured by a lonely and beautiful mermaid named Miranda . She agrees to release him if he will show her the city of London for one month. Dr. Martin convinces his wife, Clare, that the woman he has brought home in a wheelchair is an invalid patient, but it isn't long before Miranda's strange habits and powers draw the amorous attentions of Dr. Martin's male friends.
