In this musical, opera singer Ghita Galin leaves the Metropolitan Opera and starts her own company, enlisting unknown singers like the talented but inexperienced Tom Renwick . Tom brings along a new friend, Anne, and an old conductor . However, despite their progress on a new production, Ghita is unpredictable and leaves the company when her voice falters. Now the others must find a large sum of money for the show to continue.
