Fernando Robles makes a comfortable living for his family as a professor at a Buenos Aires university. However, Robles' age becomes an issue with the institution, which leads to his forced retirement. Unable to make ends meet with his pension, Robles and his wife, Liliana, move to a small farm with the intention of growing lavender. While the two adjust to the new lifestyle, Robles finds himself at odds with his distant son, Pedro .
