On her 18th birthday, Lidda receives a check from her long-absent father, Charlie, who is apparently a professional gambler in Las Vegas. She decides to leave her Tulsa, Okla., home to see him, and soon picks up Colonel, a young cardsharp wannabe who's also heading for Vegas. Lidda and her travel companion hit it off, but it turns out Charlie is mixed up with dangerous types at the casinos, and his rivalries could put Lidda's life in danger.
