Successful architect Hal Norton urges his elderly, widowed mother, Louisa, to find something to do besides tormenting his wife, son and teen daughter . But soon the Norton household is turned upside down when Louisa starts dating the grocer . Then things become much worse when Hal's boss, Abel Burnside, becomes smitten with Louisa as well, resulting in an intense love triangle.
