During the occupation of Greece in World War II, 15 prostitutes from Athens, Greece, are taken to Albania to boost the morale of occupying Italian soldiers. Along for the ride are Sgt. Castagnoli, the affable truck driver, and Lt. Martino, who initially finds the mission degrading, but eventually forms a rapport with the women. Complications arise when Martino falls for one of the prostitutes, Elenitza, and the group faces a dangerous attack.
