This made-for-TV movie chronicles the formative early years of singer John Lennon . In 1950s Liverpool, Lennon clashes with his aunt while trying to make a place for himself in rock 'n' roll. In time, he assembles a band with George Harrison, Paul McCartney, Stuart Sutcliffe and Pete Best; they call it the Beatles. As their fame builds, it's clear that nothing will be the same for Lennon again.
