Owen Rinard manages a retirement home in the state of Washington. He takes his job seriously and, thanks to a set of strict rules, keeps the home running like clockwork. When a resident named Gus requests permission to organize a fishing trip to British Columbia, Owen cites the rules and refuses. But Gus, who used to be an accountant, learns Owen is cheating on his taxes, and he leverages the manager into taking him and his pals on a riotous road trip.
