This fictionalized version of a transformational moment in Italian history chronicles the kidnapping of politician Aldo Moro . In 1978, leftist revolutionaries known as the Red Brigades murder several of Moro's attendants and take the former prime minister hostage. When the group's demands aren't met, they assassinate Moro. A troubled young member of the Red Brigades named Chiara tries to find the line between activism and terrorism.
