Television reporter Kathleen Martin accompanies five Vietnam veterans to modern-day Saigon. Their reunion will take them to the site of a horrific experience they shared in 1968. Martin's television documentary will be about their attempts to reconcile this event, chiefly by re-enacting it in hope of discovering what actually happened. The mystery they hope to solve is: Did Capt. Ramsey order an artillery strike on his own troops?
