Glen and Randa, a young couple, struggle to survive among the uneducated, underfed masses in the post-apocalyptic wasteland once called America. Armed with a stack of tattered comic books and stolen maps, the two set off with their one horse to find Metropolis. The rumored modern city -- if it truly does exist -- could offer answers to their questions about life before nuclear war destroyed all traces of civilization.
