Flieger Ellissen is a celebrated pilot who has been instrumental in the construction of a massive airstrip on the ocean that allows planes going between America and Europe to refuel on the journey. When something goes wrong on the strip, which is known as ''Floating Platform 1,'' Ellissen goes out there to snoop around and stumbles upon a secret plot to destroy F.P.1. While trying to foil the plot, Ellissen works on winning back his ex-girlfriend .
