A group of lost and lonely characters populate Mexico City's darkened alleyways and seedy bars, and over the course of one night meet each other in unexpected ways. Fede struggles to understand his prostitute mother, Lola, and his corrupt police officer father, with whom he later has a fateful encounter. Lola's friend Zeze tries to protect her young daughter. Mario, a bartender, listens to the stories of a few criminals.
