Based on the real life of the famed Argentine revolutionary, this film follows Ernesto ''Che'' Guevara as he joins the conflict in Cuba during the 1950s. Working his way up in the ranks, Guevara eventually becomes the right-hand man to Fidel Castro, who is determined to overthrow the Cuban dictatorship. After the revolution succeeds, Guevara plays a key role in punishing war criminals and establishing a new Cuban government, even as his international fame grows.
