Rodney Deane is a rich playboy who's never worked a day in his life. When he takes his nightclub singer girlfriend, Abby, home to his family, they are aghast. Rodney marries her despite the difference in their status, but she soon loses respect for him because of his reliance on his family's money. Rodney pretends to take a job but spends all his time at the racetrack. When Abby finds out, she leaves him. Now he must make an honest dollar to save his marriage.
