Deejay Ray Ray needs new turntables, so he takes a second job working as an enforcer for Chunks, a small-time loan shark. Ray Ray pays a visit to Kutty, who runs the local pawn shop. He discovers that Kutty is much tougher than he looks: He's a Holocaust survivor and doesn't think much of threats. While Ray Ray struggles to balance his friendship and his job duties, he also starts to fall for Ruby, Kutty's niece.
