In this fact-based film, journalist Amy travels to an Indian desert village, aiming to expose some corrupt practices in the area. Eventually, she interviews Saanvri, a local women's rights activist who tells her that angry locals attacked her husband, Sohan . Saanvri seeks justice and is helped by Amy, social worker Shobha Devi and lawyer Chauhan, but in the corrupt and sexist village, this won't be easy.
