A gifted singer-songwriter, Charlotte hires Will Burton, the new guy in town, to manage her fledgling rock band. The only thing she wants from him is to win a contest against her ex-boyfriend in an upcoming battle of the bands. Against the odds, Charlotte's band pulls together and seems to have a real shot at victory, while Will and dynamic guitarist Sa5m begin to make some beautiful music all their own.
