In England, 19-year-old Paul Carty is bored with middle-class life. After his mother dies, Carty gets his friend Elvis, to induct him into The Pack, a group of soccer hooligans. Obsessed with The Pack and hanging out with the group's leader, Godden, Carty ignores his sister and becomes immersed in a world of sex, drugs and music -- until someone ends up dead, and his relationship with Elvis gets a bit more complicated.
