Veteran assassin Jean-Pierre suffers a crisis of conscience during his latest assignment. Abandoning his profession, he raises the ire of mob chieftain Noël, who must then send in a novice to clean up Jean-Pierre's mess. Jean-Pierre wants a new life with Michelle, his childhood sweetheart, but Michelle's theft of a mysterious briefcase may drag him back to the world of crime.
