Antonio is a once-great assassin of populist and revolutionary leaders in Brazil whom old age and a lack of work have reduced to a life of idleness and self-doubt. When he gets a new contract, however, Antonio is suddenly energized, only to find that his latest target, Coirana, is a charismatic and engaging young leader with meaningful ideas. Antonio fulfills the contract, only to have a change of heart and begin a new life as a revolutionary leader himself.
