A Jewish woman of Greek and Spanish background, Anna returns to sell her childhood home near the Mediterranean Sea. While Anna contemplates the many family members that she has lost, she looks back at various phases of her life, including her time in Berlin, where she was befriended by the kind Max during a tense political rally. As memories wash over Anna, she begins to reconsider selling the house that carries such significance for her.
