This documentary chronicles all the drama backstage as the Central Dramatic Company of Vietnam and the Artists' Repertory Theater of Portland, Ore., attempt to collaborate on an overseas production of Shakespeare's ''A Midsummer Night's Dream.'' Separated by language and vast cultural differences, the two theater companies struggle to find common ground and prepare for their opening-night performance at the Hanoi Opera House -- which may be attended by former President Bill Clinton.
