In East Germany, vibrant and savvy call girl Rosemarie aspires to get more out of her dead-end life and shrewdly begins blackmailing corrupt capitalist businessmen customers. Encouraged by her success and by the support of her two musician roommates, Rosemarie continues recklessly. When a French client suggests that she spy on the businessmen for him, Rosemarie agrees, and as her inside knowledge grows, she becomes convinced that her influence has made her invincible.
